Thanks, gentlemen. There is still Bigboy and Com-ear to pal around with. Those two are well behaved around each other. No more chasing her out of the yard. Just hard looks and slow walks. I had a shot with all 3 outside together.

Thanks crude, but I was waiting for the day. With my back condition, the bending over to clean the 3 boxes, the butt runs on every rug in the house. Urine buckling the floorboards, stool staining the wood boards. Only overnights and then run home to clean up the mess.
The old lady is too far gone to help, so I do it all. Had a mental sniff this morning thinking the cat took a dump; and since 2 boxes are outside my door... what a relief I almost stood up to check. And here the old lady took it so well. Her cat and she just asked me, 'what was the cat's name again?"
Once she does not remember who I am, off to the home for her and I may have a life of my own yet. Free to hop on a plane and go to F1, WSB, and motogp races for once in my life.
Questioning whether to keep the feral. She rejects wet food. Eats some dry food. So her meals are more squirrels, birds, and mice. Right now she took off so she might be at a takeout from McNature.

Ha! I could clean pens at kennels no problem. Dogs during my youth. No gagging whatsoever cleaning up poop. Must be the survival instinct on the back pain. I had enough of getting up off the ground wiping up rug after rug stain.
Shit, I lost a steady job...

Hub, sorry to hear your news.
I am not ashamed to say I have shed many a tear over pets where the inevitable and awful decision had to be made.
All the best to you...

Thanks, yannih. She came to the bathroom and sat in front of me for the last time. I hear a creak at the seat and think she just pawed for my attention. I wish I had the camera with the feral and Bigboy last night. Slow comical to watch.

Boy lyn, that's a shit load of a shit load, did I mention a shit load of shit... Sheeee it.
Got my 3 buddies, but this is scary. Feral is a work in progress. Bigboy comes over and waits at the backdoor. Has to be the opossum with that snout being washed by the dog's water bowl. I see that white bowl with brown silt on the bottom I know he was around that night.
Left a can in the fridge. Scooped the rest out and left it outside for the feral. All 3 did not touch it. And when the opossum passes it up, you wonder what was in that can? Anyone using fancy feast? Feral is so fussy, she walks away from it.

Speaking of our furry friends, meet the new family member.
Little Kayla.
Kisha started off cold to her new sister but is coming around with the two of them playing quite a bit now...

About 3 weeks ago the local used pet store posted a pic of a female cat that was left in a pet taxi outside their store. Wife and I go there almost every week and donate $20 each but I kept looking at this fat mama and you can guess the rest. She hasn't been vetted yet so there may be a wait unless I take her to the vet and pay out of my pocket which may happen as I already paid her adoption fee.
I would rather get an elder cat (this one is 11 years old) because it seems like all people want is kittens and the elders were already homed and something went really wrong for them to wind up at the used pet store in a cage for months because only a few of us will take them.
The other cats are not gonna be happy when Sophie comes to live with us.

Well we brought Sophie home today and she already drew blood on me. It was my fault but I think she is gonna be a lover. She loves her lovin and also the cat treats.
Her original owner passed away then got passed around to 9 different friends of the passed away owner then got left as a midnite drop off at the used pet store. This is her final home whether she likes it or not so she just needs time to understand that. If she gets a little "tude" with the other critters then to bad she will have to get over it.
I thank you all for the complements but we are just typical animal lovers with extra love to give the fur babies. They have plenty of love to give back so it works out.

Picked up another girl from the used pet store. This is an 8 year old that had $4400 in vet bills to get her somewhat healthy. She had hypothyroidism and went thru the iodine treatment. She had more problems but that was the worst of them. Her name is Clemmy and a total lover. She was given up because the original owner could not afford what the vet bills were gonna be but knew the used pet store would do their best for the little girl.
I got my 1st head butt and hand slap from her today when I quit petting her.
We now have hit our limit with 6 cats and life is good !!!!!

Head butt GOOD.My lil baby does that all the time.Never thought that would happen. And the mouth/teeth rub on my face. And letting me give her kisses. She's come so far from how she was 1 1/2 years ago.BeBe too.Don't know what they went through when they were wee kittens. But trust has been a slow road for em.At this point I think they're really starting to believe they're safe and this is their permanent home. They're amazing.Love these kits.
Lil Boy is becoming not only the little brother to em,but he really likes jumping up here on my lap and just purring like crazy and kickin back lookin at me with those eyes that say 'I'm diggin ya"...
