Cops don't have to put themselves in harms way. It's up to them to decide. at least that's what I thought. Man that sucks to have that pension in reach and you let it go. I wonder what I would have done with my 16 shots if I was that cop.

He should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Cops don't have to put themselves in harms way.

.
And we are expecting teachers to put themselves in harms way?

Danno:
And I take back what I said about Trump sounding saner than you. His response to victims and survivors who went to the white House to plea for change: Arm the teachers. So how does that work?

.
For years now, the Philadelphia School District has an ongoing budget crisis. Deep cuts every school year, 24 schools closed down, aides, secretaries, teachers, nurses, counselors, security officers laid off.

Schools can no longer afford school supplies because of the budget cuts.

Now Comrade Trump is suggesting to arm 20% of teachers in schools and to give them bonuses. There are 3.5 million teachers in the United States, do we want 700,000 armed teachers in our schools?

We don't even have the funding for supplies, who will be paying for those bonuses?

you can blame your elected Democrat mayor for that one.why do you people elect these folks into office time and time again when they impoverish everything they touch

.
You should ask your fellow Tennesseanss since they elected Democratic Mayor Megan Barry. Rumor has it she is trying to emulate Comrade Trump by having extramarital affairs while in office.

.

you want that poor sap to go to prison for being afraid?

.
If a trained, experienced, armed officer is afraid to confront a crazy guy with an AR-15, he should've never accepted the job. So even the cops are afraid to enter a situation with such a gun, but a teacher should be ok with that? Hopefully, this is the end of that stupid suggestion.

Kofla thinks he can broad brush me into Nashville.Hell pal that's two hundred miles away.

.
Philly is 700 miles from you, that doesn't stop you from running your mouth. I don't know what makes you so stupid, but it really works.

.

How many cops you know will confront an armed crazy guy with an ar-15?you are so outta touch with reality.I Like how you didn't have an answer on what should be done, but you never have any answers to anything anyone asks of you do you?Because you don't have any

.
You are under the impression you are the only person who have all the answers. Maybe you should work in the Adult Day Care Center White House as president Trump's certified firearm specialist.

.
Methinks Trump is the one who is out of touch with reality. Comrade Trump thinks a teacher with little to no training is going to be able to respond effectively, with a handgun, to a killer with an assault rifle.

Have a good night!

RE: School shootings

Ive owned guns all my life. Shooting since i was 10. There is no way my guns will be involved in an illegal shooting, so their confiscation would solve nothing. UK has had a gun ban in place for decades, and they are still getting guns turned in. 3 mass murders in 2017, 2 by vehicle and knife. How many people are killed by drunk drivers? Drunk drivers with multiple DUIs? Drunk drivers under 21? The felon that shot the police cmdr in chicago has been arrested many times, but released early or given light sentences, and still got a gun as a convicted felon.
A gun ban would be impossible to enforce. We have had a ban on drugs for decades. Is it any harder, or easier to get drugs? By land sea and air drugs are brought into the US in tons, and guns will come in the same way. Only then the criminals will be the only buyers because any buyer will be a criminal. Limit ammo, same result. Black market will flourish.
There is no way to stop murders, but the first step is to fix the justice system. Any gang member found with a gun gets serious time. Any crime committed with a gun gets serious time. Im talking decades. 2nd offence is life. Murder is life or death, no 1st degree or 2nd or manslaughter. 2nd DUI gets time, and serious time for 3rd. Juvenile DUI gets time. Minimum age to own a firearm larger than a .22 is 21.
You get the idea. Make the crime that endangers innocent lives cost dearly. No more easy sentences from sympathetic or lenient judges. No early releases or parole.
I have no problem with background checks, delays, or agencies and health care providers flagging someone that shouldn't have a firearm. There is no way to stop mass murders, gun violence, or irresponsible people putting innocent lives in danger, but our justice system is supposed to limit exposure and it is failing miserably.
A few years ago i watched a documentary on serial killers. In russia the convicted killer was walked out of the courtroom, into his cell, and executed. How long do killers sit on death row in the US? You can't have a lenient view of punishment for criminals, and a strict viewpoint against legal citizens.

2nd amendment goes something like... "the civic duty to act in concert in defense of the state."
The state remains the same, only the firepower evolved to semi-auto types. One would be the fool to use a musket to defend these shores or tyranny... yes or no.

You pledge for which it stands and the 2nd amendment stands next to 1,3,and 4 for one and one for all. Bump stop is bump you into the next century see how those amendments sit now. No law shall abridge the freedom of expression. Some of use is of the a holes are not pledging, or rather gather in packs of treason yeast.

So, it seems to me the argument goes like this:

Libs: Ban ARs and standard mags and make the NRA illegal - not sure what near term affect this would have if it happened. So this is a purely political move with a long term strategy of deletion of the 2nd Amendmendment not making schools safer.

Cons: Allow CCW in schools and get local PoPo to post armed security - Near term affect would be instant improved defense of schools and elimination of gun free zones. This is a near term tactical move to try and reduce the killing but it has panty waist liberal boys shaking like a couple of queers at a weenie roast (not that there anything wrong with that)

So lets hear it mad dog, angry old white guy and east coast Osama Obama lover, what is your solution to reduce the probability of more violence today?

STILL NO ANSWER ON THE TOPIC OF THIS THREAD HUH?pretty pathetic pal, cartoons and deflection are about it.

Me thinks that neither Danno the lapser, fast mad,or Kofla the Mexican has an answer

.
HAHAHAHHAHAAHA!!!!! .......you sound mad and foaming at the mouth.

And talking about deflections.......you appear to have a short memory.......

"Mr. Marc Marquez is a Mexican", you are once again showing your bigotry and prejudice. Just because a Mexican got lucky with your girlfriend and took your lunch money in school does not mean "They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people".

Back on topic, a new report shows that not one, but 3 Broward county deputies did not enter the school building and decided to stay outside. And the president is still talking about arming teachers despite of lack of evidence it would stop shootings.....unbelievable!

Pathetic losers? Hahahahahah.......Talking about pathetic loser...Indiana's Attorney General met with Trump recently and proposed potential solutions, but since the solutions didn't include to arm teachers, he was quickly dismissed.

Get real, if your incompetent moron president is not interested in solutions, do you expect anything discussed here to make a difference? Comrade Trump's just wants to maximize sales for his NRA Masters.

Just pay attention to what Comrade Trump's says and his body language.

A total of four Broward County Sheriff’s deputies failed to enter Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., during last week's mass shooting, according to a new report.

On Friday, it was reported that Broward County Sheriff’s Deputy Scot Peterson, who served as the armed school resource officer, did not enter the school as the shooting occurred.

But Peterson wasn’t the only one — three other Broward County Sheriff’s deputies also remained outside the school with their pistols drawn as they took cover behind their vehicles

Not one but four sheriff’s deputies hid behind cars instead of storming Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS in Parkland, Fla., during Wednesday’s school shooting, police claimed Friday

"A total of four Broward County Sheriff’s deputies failed to enter Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., during last week's mass shooting, according to a new report".

Well, this is sad and inexcusable really.BUT...why post this up Kof?What's this got to do with anything Trump...which I guess you're trying to make a connection to?Being President doesn't mean you have control over what others actually think or do.

And this thing some are saying about the NRA...how they're murderers and such.Makes me sick. There's thousands and thousands of good kind caring members in there.People that would lay down their lives for others. The NRA has NOTHING to do with crazy sick people getting guns and doing stuff like this.
One side says...'we should ban all firearms.and here's why"...the other says "This type of thing will only encourage others to get weapons for protection and such".Which it will. The NRA has NOTHING to do with any of this.

Crude, of COURSE your ideas of the 2nd amendment are correct and proper and OF COURSE anybody who disagrees with you is wrong. Your entire statement is bullshit. I don't have to justify my position to you or anyone.
As far as you bumpfart, I have known Mexicans and many other people who have nothing, but still have more class in their turds than you have in your entire body. Just be honest with us and yourself and admit you are a racist and a coward and hate anyone who doesn't look like you and think like you.

RE: School shootings

There is no way to know how anyone will act under fire. Why i doubt arming teachers would work. Courage, judgement, and accuracy aside, i cant picture any of my old teachers, or most teachers i know now being effective.
I asked a retired teacher about his school, and he said all doors are locked except for 45 min in morning and 45 min at end of day. He also said he would have carried if allowed, and thought it a good idea.
Maybe schools need to consider opening less doors and having armed guards at those doors. If only minimum doors are used, and only entry allowed in morning, and exit at end with all bags searched. Bag size limited, more books digitized, and late entry/exits more scrutinized. It will take longer for kids to enter/leave, but they want something done. If memory serves, every school shooter walked in through an open door.

Ive always leaned to black. 2 of my zx11s were black with color flake, one purple one green. My 3000gt vr4 was black with blue flake. Loved the color change in sun or when wet. Zx14 is red. Too nice a bike to pass up, and after 11 years, im starting to get used to it. In the pic section theres a white zx14, and an orange that make me drool though.

You're ALL wrong. Illinois, California, Pennsylvania and New York didn't even make the list. Montana and Tennessee are right up there. All States with lax gun laws.
