Not sure if this is directed at me but I am not looking at the 996.
(would consider a late model 996 turbo or at a push for the right car a 2003-2004 996 Carrera 4S).

Its why after owning two 944's years ago I finally want the real thing!

However the good news is the intermediate shaft bearing and rear main seal have been done when previous work was done on the gearbox.
